Talking

Was talking to a woman today who mentioned the economy upon hearing of my dire straits. Feeling it was a knock on Obama, I mentioned the unregulated banks who caused the recession with unscrupulous behaviors. Later, I was thinking of how when Obama took office he had a Senate majority by just one vote that often wasn't enough to get legislation passed and after 2010 he had lost the House which was where good legislation was coming from. So, he has been blocked in the Congress throughout his first term.
Bush was attacked for his economic performance, also, in his bid for reelection in 2004. It seemed his performance in foreign affairs saved him with the party claiming a vote for Bush was somehow a patriotic vote. Obama, has had a far better record in foreign affairs. He has gotten us out of Irag militarily and had a  helping hand in the revolutions in Egypt and Libya. He has killed Osama Bin Laden, also to his credit.
I don't know how we are ever going to get over our deadlocked Senate and House until the filibuster is abandoned.
